WELCOME TO THE J LEE INSURANCE AGENCY
Today you are a Neutron. But during the next 90 days each and every Proton will be helping you to become a full-fledged Proton. What’s more, they’ll be helping you to become the right kind of Proton. And what is a Proton, you might ask? Well you’ll find out soon enough!
How to use this handbook
This handbook will help you understand how we work, live and have fun together at the agency – with a lot of important details on things such as compensation, benefits and what to wear to work.
It’s also very important that you review The Agency Values that provide us with direction and inspiration on how we do our work and treat others. At J Lee Insurance Agency we strongly believe that it’s not just what you do that matters, it’s why and how you do it. That’s what makes a Proton super-power special!
We do business under the brand J Lee Insurance Agency. Here in Florida our company is registered as J Lee Agency LLC, doing business as J Lee Insurance Agency. In this Agency Handbook, J Lee Agency LLC will be referred to as JLA or The Company.
Your everyday office life
Live your life and do your work with the Agency Values in your heart and mind. Working together as a team is at the center of what we do: in the way we communicate, show each other respect and always search for better ways to amaze our customers.
At JLA you’ll see that team meetings will be pretty infrequent, typically once a month. This is intentional. This allows us to be more productive with our day's limited minutes (besides, let's face it, most meetings we've had in our lives could have just been emails). Everyone at JLA from the top down sits with an open office door and is available to chat with, ask questions of or share ideas with at any time. Don’t be shy – every team member has something important to say and there are no dumb questions.
Fresh coffee and a variety of drinks are provided daily to ensure you’re wired and ready to go. And for an energy burst in the afternoon, healthy snacks are laid out in the common area to give us all some informal time to have fun and get to know each other.
